Laura Gonano works in Cape Town as a professional English and Italian translator. She qualified as an English-Italian and Italian-English sworn translator with the South African Translators’ Institute (SATI) in 2006. She is registered as a Sworn Translator with the High Court of South Africa, the Consulate of Italy in Cape Town and the General Consulate of Italy in Johannesburg.Laura graduated in Law at the University of Milan and worked at the Italian Consulate in Cape Town for 15 years, where she gained her knowledge of Consular procedures as well as legislation on Italian citizenship.
Annalisa Contrafatto is a professional translator accredited with the South African Translators’ Institute (SATI), admitted as a Sworn Translator in the High Court of South Africa, and registered with the Consulate of Italy in Cape Town and the General Consulate of Italy in Johannesburg. Her language combination is English-Italian.
She has a background in anti-money laundering and financial crime prevention, and has gained extensive experience in the corporate, financial and business languages. She graduated in Linguistics and English and is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Specialised Translation.
